The food industry takes a major toll on the environment, from the staggering amount of resources required in production and distribution, to the CO2 emissions from waste in landfills. It’s time to make a change and that’s where Karma comes in.
Karma’s ultimate mission is to ensure that great food is never wasted. We want to lead the shift towards a more sustainable society, with the belief that we’re stronger together. If everyone takes small steps in tackling this issue, we can make a meaningful difference for the future!

Karma is a Swedish startup founded in Stockholm, November 2016. The app connects surplus food from restaurants, cafes and grocery stores to consumers for a lower price. As a result, users eat great food for less and businesses receive an additional revenue stream — all while reducing food waste.
Since launch, Karma has reached 150 Swedish cities, working with 1500+ retailers, and attracting 400,000 app users. In February 2018, Karma launched in London, and is now working with over 400 retailers. To date, 500,000 food items have been rescued!
